Don Bosco School Trasi, commenced the Academic Year for the year 2023-24 with a solemn and glittering ceremony. The program was ushered in with a Prayer Service conducted by the teachers. The symbolic inauguration was done with the lighting of the lamp by the Rector & Principal, Fr. Maxim Dsouza, along with Fr. Roshan Dsouza, the Administrator, Fr. Bryce Rodrigues, the Vice Principal, 4 Section Coordinators and Student Representatives.

New Teachers and New Students were warmly welcomed to the School by Fr. Maxim Dsouza.

The theme of the year, 'A Light Within' was officially declared and the significance was explained. A theme song on the theme of the year was presented.

In his Presidential address, Fr. Maxim reminded the students that if we have the light within, we will be able to radiate the light around. He also exhorted the students to make efforts to shed the darkness of ignorance and be eager to imbibe the light of knowledge. Towards the end of the program, Fr. Maxim felicitated some students who came to school a few days earlier to help the management in getting the school ready for the inaugural. The entire program was coordinated by Sir Michael Dias and executed with the help of the teachers.
