The Christmas Tree Celebration at Don Bosco School, Trasi was held on 23rd December 2025 in the School Auditorium amidst a serene and joyful atmosphere. The programme was honoured by the presence of Rev. Fr. Pruthvi Ryanal Rodrigues SJ, Assistant Parish Priest, Byndoor as the Chief Guest.

The celebration commenced with the formal inaugural ceremony comprising of prayer service, lighting of the lamp and welcome address. The Rector and Principal, Fr. Maxim D’Souza shared inspiring message in his Introductory Address, wherein he emphasized the true significance of Christmas, stating that the festival focuses on the birth of Christ and not on material possessions.

The students from Classes I to V presented graceful and energetic Christmas dance performances, which added vibrancy and festive spirit to the occasion. The programme also included the prize distribution ceremony for the Diwali Lantern Making Competition. In addition, prizes were awarded for various Christmas competitions, namely: Star Making Competition (Classes I to XII), Greeting Card Making Competition (Classes I to V) and Santa Claus Making Competition (Classes VI to VIII).

The Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Pruthvi Ryanal Rodrigues, delivered a meaningful message on the occasion, highlighting that Christmas is a celebration of love, symbolizing God becoming man. He further explained the deeper meaning of the word CHRISTMAS through an acronym, making the message spiritually enriching.

The Christmas Tree Celebration concluded on a joyful note with the entry of Santa Claus, followed by a concluding dance performance, leaving the audience with a sense of joy and festivity.
