Don Bosco School, Trasi celebrated the Feast of St. John Bosco with great devotion and joy on 31st January 2026 in the school premises. The solemn Eucharist celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Arvind V. Severes, Rector of Don Bosco, Kelmbet. The feast was a grand celebration in the presence of various Parish and Salesian Priests and Sisters from the region, and the staff, parents and students of Don Bosco School, Trasi.

During the Eucharistic celebration, Rev. Fr. Arvind Severes reflected on the life and mission of St. John Bosco, highlighting how Don Bosco created a special place and provided opportunity to the young, especially the poor and marginalized. He emphasized Don Bosco’s tireless efforts to empower young people through education, love, and guidance, inspiring the faithful to continue this mission in today’s context.

Following the Holy Mass, the celebration continued with a lively Housie game, which brought excitement and active participation from the gathered crowd. Adding to the festive spirit of the evening, the announcement of the Lucky Dip Winners as part of the Silver Jubilee Project of the school were made.

Fr. Maxim D’Souza, the Rector and Principal of Don Bosco School, Trasi conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to all the priests, sisters, staff, parents and students for being part of the celebration. He appreciated all the donors and benefactors of the school, who greatly support in the successful conduction of all the programs in the school. He also informed regarding the planning of the Silver Jubilee Project of Don Bosco School, Trasi and requested many more benefactors to join hands in this essential cause.

The gathering was then entertained by the energetic performance of the Bosco Youth Band, whose music created an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. The celebrations concluded with dinner, accompanied by music, allowing everyone to share fellowship and gratitude on this special occasion.

The Feast of our School Patron, St. John Bosco was a meaningful and joyful celebration, strengthening the bond of the community and renewing its commitment to the Salesian spirit of service to the young.
