The Kindergarten Annual Day was celebrated in a grand manner with great enthusiasm and joy on 15th November 2025 at Don Bosco School, Trasi. The event was organised in the School Auditorium and witnessed the participation of students, teachers and parents.

The dignitaries on the dais involved the Chief Guest, Mrs. Anitha Alice D’Souza, along with the Rector and Principal, Rev. Fr. Maxim D’Souza, the Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Bryce Rodrigues and the Administrator, Rev. Fr. Arnold Mathias. The celebration began with the welcome dance, followed by a humble prayer service and lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.

The Rector and Principal, Rev. Fr. Maxim D’Souza, presented the Kindergarten Section Annual Report to the audience. The school events and achievements were gloriously presented to the parents.

The Administrator, Rev. Fr. Arnold Mathias addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech. He indicated to the parents and guardians how to be a role model to the students, as the children in kindergarten imitate and follow all the behaviours of the adults around them. He also shared the examples of the young comperes of the program, who are quick learners and they remember how they are made to feel throughout their life. “Hence, it is important to take care of them well in early years, so they become secure adults and good citizens of our country in later stage of life”, he added.

The Chief Guest, Mrs. Alice D’Souza shared her experience of being an Educator and the challenges faced in teaching the important things of life to students of current generation. She shared examples of extremely knowledgeable people without moral values. She encouraged the parents to teach these moral values at home, as the mother and family are considered the first teacher and school respectively to all the children. She also appreciated the Kindergarten Teachers as they play the most important role in the lives of all the students, they establish a foundation for children on how they will start and venture through their academic journey later in life.

The colourful cultural programs showcased the talents of the blooming buds. The little moves and grooves of the tiny tots during their dance performances was a sight to behold. The highlight of the day was the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where the efforts of the students were rewarded for the achievements in academics, sports and extracurricular activities. The Kindergarten Annual Day was not just filled with entertainment, but also motivated students to excel further.

The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem. Overall, the Kindergarten Annual Day celebration was a grand success, reflecting the spirit and process of our school community.
