The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour in the School Campus of Don Bosco School, Trasi on 26th January 2026. The program was held at the School Entrance in the presence of the school management, staff, parents and students.
The Chief Guest for the celebration was Rev. Fr. Maxim D’Souza, the Rector and Principal, accompanied by Rev. Fr. Bryce Rodrigues, the Vice Principal and Rev. Fr. Arnold Mathias, the Administrator. The dignitaries were escorted to the flag post by the School Scout and Guide Colour Party.
The celebration began with respect and solemnity towards the National Flag of India. The Chief Guest unfurled the National Flag followed by the rendition of the National Anthem. Students delivered speeches in Kannada, Hindi and English, reflecting India’s unity in diversity and the spirit of nationalism. The students also presented a patriotic song, which filled the atmosphere with pride and devotion towards the nation. The celebration highlighted the importance of the Indian Constitution and the values it upholds.
The Principal, Rev. Fr. Maxim D’Souza, addressed the gathering and encouraged everyone to show true loyalty towards the country by living the Constitution of India in their daily lives. He urged everyone to be productive citizens, help one another, follow rules sincerely, and uphold constitutional values in thought and action.
The program concluded on a meaningful note, reminding everyone of their duties and responsibilities towards the nation.
