The students of Don Bosco School, Trasi went on an educational and recreational tour on 7th February 2026. The trip was organized under the guidance and immense support from the Rector and Principal, Fr. Maxim D’ Souza. All the students assembled in the school campus early in the morning and departed their ways in school bus under the supervision of the teachers and the support staff.
The students of Classes I to III visited the Pilikula Nisargadhama, Mangalore. They were accompanied by the Administrator, Fr. Arnold Mathias, along with the teaching and support staff. The students learnt about the various wildlife forms living in the nature and the importance of biodiversity conservation. The students enjoyed the show at Swami Vivekananda 3D Planetarium and explored the science exhibits at the Regional Science Centre. The Heritage Village showcased the traditional houses of the region. The students had a fun yet educational trip.
The students of the Classes IV to VIII enjoyed their recreational trip to Joy N Joyy Water Park, Honnavar, where they enjoyed various water rides, pool games and rain dance. The Vice Principal, Fr. Bryce Rodrigues accompanied the students along with the teaching and support staff. The teachers and students created joyful memories together in the splashes of the water.
The students spent a day out of school creating happy memories, gaining new experiences and strengthening their friendship. The entire trip was well planned and coordinated by Tr. Sulekha S with the cooperation from the management, teaching and co-teaching staff, who ensured the safety and discipline of the students throughout the trip.
Overall, the School Excursion was educational, refreshing and memorable for everyone.
