Don Bosco School, Trasihas been trying to address the pressing concern regarding the students’ and other passengers’ safety and comfort while commuting in local bus at Movadi Cross for many years. In the absence of proper bus stand the students, teachers and local passengers have been standing under the scorching sun, while many buses fail to give stop, making the commutation travel challenging.

Addressing this issue, the School Management, under the able leadership of the Rector and Principal, Fr. Maxim D’Souza, took aninitiative by submitting a formal request to the Hosadu Panchayat on 14th March 2026, seeking permission to construct a temporary bus stand for the students. The Panchayat responded positively and granted the required permission without delay.

Following the approval, the School’s TransportStaff members came together with strong determination and a spirit of teamwork. Despite the challenging weather conditions, they worked tirelessly under the sun to complete the construction of the bus stand in a short span of time.Their collective effort resulted in the successful completion of the structure, which was inaugurated on 17th March 2026 by the School Principal. The newly built temporary bus stand now provides much-needed shelter and comfort to the students and other local passengers, ensuring their well-being while waiting for the transport.
