Trasi, June 12, 2026: Don Bosco CBSE School, Trasi, marked the inauguration of its Co-Scholastic and Co-Curricular Activities for the academic year 2026–27 with a vibrant and inspiring programme held in the school auditorium at 2:30 p.m.
The programme was compered by Charvi S. and Christon Len Crasta of Class V, who conducted the event with confidence and enthusiasm. The celebration commenced with a prayer service, setting a reflective and positive tone for the occasion. This was followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Gagan Ganapati Bhat of Class V.
The formal inauguration began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the enlightenment of minds and the beginning of a new journey of learning and talent development.
The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Johnson Byndoor, a renowned composer and lyricist. The activity trainers for various co-curricular disciplines were also present and received a warm welcome from the students of Class V. During the programme, the trainers introduced their respective activities and encouraged students to actively participate, explore their interests, and nurture their talents.
The various school clubs took the opportunity to present their annual plans and objectives for the academic year, giving students an insight into the diverse opportunities available for their holistic development. The Chief Guest was formally introduced by Maiara Eva D’Souza of Class VI.
A special highlight of the programme was the captivating musical performance by Mr. Johnson Byndoor. His melodious songs enthralled the audience and added a vibrant touch to the event. Addressing the gathering, he inspired students to discover their unique talents, pursue their passions with dedication, and strive for excellence in all spheres of life.
The Rector and Principal, Rev. Fr. Maxim D’Souza, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of co-scholastic and co-curricular activities in shaping well-rounded individuals. He encouraged the students to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the school and to participate wholeheartedly in the various activities offered.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Emmanuel Dilip Cardin of Class V, who expressed sincere gratitude to the management, the Chief Guest, activity trainers, teachers, students, and all those who contributed to the successful organization of the programme.
The event was organized under the guidance of Tr. Reena Dorthi, the Programme In-charge. The inauguration concluded with the National Anthem at 3:30 p.m., leaving the students inspired, motivated, and eager to embark on a year filled with learning, creativity, and personal growth.
