Every year, the onset of monsoons also ushers in the excitement of celebrating the World Environment Day or Vanamahotsava on 5th of June. Like last year, this year too, since the Schools are closed due to the pandemic, the School celebrated World Environment Day in a unique way.
The students who are home bound were asked to celebrate the day by planting saplings in their compounds or prepare a vegetable or flower garden. The idea was to help the children move out of their houses into the mother nature and enjoy the freshness of the rain and be enriched by mudding their hands in the soil. Quite a few students across the classes participated in the event and sent pictures. The best efforts were rewarded with digital certificates.
