Trasi, June 11, 2026: Don Bosco School, Trasi, joyfully inaugurated the Kindergarten section for the academic year 2026–27. The programme marked the beginning of a new educational journey for the young learners and extended a warm welcome to them and their parents into the Don Bosco family.

The inaugural programme was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Maxim D’Souza, Rector and Principal, and Rev. Fr. Sandesh Fernandes, Vice Rector and Vice Principal, whose presence added significance to the occasion and encouraged the children as they embarked on their educational journey.

The programme commenced with a prayer service, invoking God’s blessings upon the children, parents, teachers, and the entire school community for a fruitful and successful academic year. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the light of knowledge, wisdom, and learning.

A special highlight of the programme was the address by Fr. Maxim D’Souza, who warmly welcomed the children and their parents. In a delightful and child-friendly gesture, he sang an action song and encouraged the children to join in. The young learners responded enthusiastically, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere in the hall.

Adding to the excitement, the Kindergarten teachers presented a vibrant action dance. To the delight of everyone present, both Fr. Maxim D’Souza and Fr. Sandesh Fernandes joined the teachers and children, matching their steps to the lively tunes. Their enthusiastic participation brought smiles to the faces of the children and created a warm sense of belonging and celebration.

The classrooms were beautifully decorated with colourful balloons and attractive displays, creating a cheerful and welcoming environment. Various fun-filled activities, songs, and games were organized to help the children feel comfortable and excited about their new school experience. These activities encouraged interaction, participation, and confidence among the young learners.

The programme provided the children with an opportunity to become familiar with their surroundings, interact with their teachers, and experience the caring atmosphere that characterizes the Don Bosco educational environment.
