“A fit body, a calm mind, a house full of love. These things cannot be bought - they must be earned” said by Naval Ravikanth. The World Mental Health Day is observed every year on 10thof October. Don Bosco School Trasi, organized the World Mental Health Day on the same day to raise the awareness about Mental Health.
The Class teachers spoke to the students about the importance of Mental Health during this Covid-19 Pandemic. They made them aware of how during the past months have been difficult for a number of people. It has been challenging for the frontline health care workers, students who had to adopt to online classes from home, with little contact with the teachers and friends and anxious about their future, for workers whose livelihoods are threatened and for people with mental health conditions who experience even greater social isolation.
Further, the teachers gave few examples to their respective classes through interesting stories, highlighting different components of mental well-being at primary and middle stage. A few students asked questions based on the story shared.The teachers gavesome tasks to the students of making a poster on the above topic. The students tookup the task enthusiastically and prepared creative posters and catchy slogans on the above theme.
The Principal, Fr. Maxim appreciated the teachers for their initiative and creativity. He also, thanked all the students for their efforts and active participation.
