Don Bosco CBSE School Trasi recorded 100% results for the 5th consecutive year when its 5th batch of 10thstd students passed out from the institution. The School had prepared a batch of 29 students for the Board Exam, when unfortunately the CBSE Board cancelled the Board exams due to the 2nd wave of the pandemic. The School had to prepare the result as per the Policy laid down by the Board, aligning the marks of the present batch with the overall and subject averages of the batch of 2018.
Of the 29 students, 6 students passed out in Distinction, 11 Students in First Class and the remaining in Second Class. Nithyashree V topped the institution with 94.2% whereas Pranjal Mathew Lobo stood second with 91.2%. The Principal, Rev. Fr. Maxim D’Souza opined that, the students were well prepared for this year’s Board exam and if the exam were to be held as per the normal way, there would have been a hike of 4 to 5% in the overall performance of the students.
It may be noted that Don Bosco School has recently upgraded itself to the Senior Secondary Curriculum with CBSE and has begun classes for 11th std., with Science and Commerce sections.
