The Annual Sports Meet of our school was held on 12th and 13th October 2018. On 12th morning the inaugural ceremony was held. Mr. Vasappa Nayak, Sub Inspector of Police, Gangolli Police Station was invited as a chief guest for the occasion. The ceremony began by escorting the chief guest and other dignitaries to the stage on the ground. This was followed by the colorful and majestic march past by the four houses. After the prayer song, hoisting the flag and lighting up the torch, the Blue and the Yellow houses displayed colorful and energetic presentation. The chief guest along with the dignitaries inaugurated the Sports day by flying the pigeons.

r. Vasappa Nayak, in his speech, recalled his days of his school and thanked his parents and teachers who encouraged him in the field of sports and academics. He further encouraged the parents to stand by their children and see to their overall development. He then requested the parents to also see to the human development and formation while giving importance to education i.e. to see that they develop values of love and to show respect to other people. 

He then thanked the management, the Principal, Rev. Fr. Maxim D’souza for the wonderful service of education rendered to the children of his area. Before being appointed as the Sub Inspector of Gangolli Police station, he had heard a lot of good that is being done here in this place away from the city. He then thanked the teachers and the parents for their presence and hard work and that we need to work together to build this nation. In response Fr. Maxim thanked him for his availability and presence and requested the parents to cooperate with the police in all the matters.

With the school captain leading the oath taking ceremony, the various track and field events began. Fr. Maxim D’souza, the Principal, Fr. Leo Pereira, the Rector and Mr. Kiran Lobo, the PTA President were present at the occasion.
