Summer holidays are the time that every kid looks forward to and wants it to be an enjoyable and a memorable experience. Hence successfully for the second year Don Bosco School, Trasi organized from 3rd April to 27th April 2018, “Summer Thrill,” a Summer Club open to all the students (from the other schools as well) as to foster creativity, imagination and help them get their talents to light. This is the reason why the camp was themed as “Let your light shine”. By choosing skill training under the particular trainers they will master a skill. Be it musical instruments, art, dance, computer animation, skating, outdoor and indoor sports. The best part of the camp at Don Bosco is also that we ensure their dose of physical play keeping them energized and entertained. Kids will learn from various kinds of competitions and have lots of fun.

The inauguration ceremony of the summer Thrill 2019 was held in the presence of Fr. Leo Pereira the Rector, Fr. Maxim D’souza the Principal, Fr. Merwin Fernandes the vice-principal and Mr. Prakash and Charlotte Lobo. In his opening speech Fr. Leo told the children to be the lights in their own families by helping their parents and by doing their day to day activities with joy. Fr. Maxim addressed the children and said that he was happy to see many children apart from the Don Bosco institution. It is an opportunity for the kids to know and experience what the spirit Don Bosco means. There was a lively dance performed by the twenty volunteers who will be helping Br. Arnold Mathias and Br. Nester Furtado to conduct this nineteen days camp. Mr. Prakash and Charlotte Lobo unveiled the Score board. Then the fathers along with the captains of four teams lit the spark lights and Fr. Leo declared the summer thrill 2019 open. Hence the 20 days long camp was set in motion.
