The Summer Club at Don Bosco School,Trasi, started off with a solemn Inauguration Ceremony on 23rd March 2026 and concluded with a grand Valedictory Ceremony on 28th March 2026. It wasa week filled with fun and educational activities for the students of Classes I to VII. The Summer Club provided students with a unique opportunity to develop new skills, enhance their talents, and make lasting memories, by participating in a wide range of activities.

The Summer Club featured an exciting series of competitions that allowed students to showcase their talents, build confidence, teamwork and healthy competition. The Drawing Competition allowed the budding artists to create beautiful pieces of artwork. The Minute to Win It – Talent Show had participants showcasing their impressive talents in a quick minute. The Cooking without Fire Competition gave the students an idea of cooking without using fire. The Show and Speak Competition and Mad Ad Competition brought about the creativity of the students who wanted to present their item as innovatively as possible. The Face Painting Competition allowed the young minds to explore new ways of using someone’s face as a canvas. The Essay Writing Competition, Quiz and Spell Bee challenged their vocabulary, general knowledge and encouraged them to explore their language skills.

The importance of healthy lifestyle and exercise was taught with the games every day. The students developed skills like teamwork, decision making and collaboration during these physical activities.

One of the standout events was the Session on ‘Health is Wealth’, where the students learnt the importance of having a healthy lifestyle and avoiding junk food for theiroverall health and wellbeing. The Green Day Celebration also encouraged the students to have concern for Mother Earth and take initiatives to protect the nature around.

The Summer Club included academic classes aimed at strengthening foundational skills in Maths and English. These classes ensured the revision of important concepts along with the fun-filled activities.

The best part of the Summer Club wasthe Field Trip on 25thMarch 2026. The field trip provided an opportunity to the students to explore new places, learn about the world and enjoy a fun and educational experience in real, outside the classroom.

The students also polished and practiced their skills learnt during their activity classes across the year during the Summer Club. They exhibited their skills and talent during the Valedictory Ceremony.

The Summer Club was a grand success and received appreciation from across the school fraternity.
